1

Snap a photo

Take a photo of the card front. That's it. We're not grading centering.

2 seconds

2

Stick the label

Print the fractal QR label on your thermal printer. Stick it on the toploader or sleeve.

5 seconds

3

Buyer scans to verify

Phone camera, no app. Buyer sees the card details, your shop name, and a big green checkmark.

Instant

Built for how you actually sell cards.

Card Shops

Every card worth $50+ gets a label. Your employees can do it. Customers scan on their phone. Your shop becomes the place where every card is verified.

Online Sellers

Batch-authenticate 30 cards in 15 minutes. Buyer scans on delivery. Return fraud? The fractal QR proves what you shipped. That's dispute-winning evidence.

Card Shows

Show Mode: 15 seconds from card-in-hand to label-on-toploader. Buyer asks "is this real?" You say "scan it." Sale closed.

eBay Return Fraud

The buyer returns a different card.
Now you have proof.

eBay's money-back guarantee gets exploited: buyer returns a counterfeit, keeps the real card, gets the refund. This happens 2-3x/month to power sellers.

With Slab, every card has a unique fractal QR. If the returned card's QR doesn't match, you have a screenshot that eBay's dispute team can independently verify.

Card shipped

QR: A3K9WMJF - 2024 Topps Chrome Elly #101

Card returned

QR: NOT RECOGNIZED - Code not in system

Dispute evidence generated.

eBay can verify independently at slab.taynik.net/v/A3K9WMJF

Still cheaper than one PSA submission.

Every plan includes unlimited verification scans. Buyers never pay.

Questions from the hobby.

Do you grade cards?
No. We authenticate them. PSA grades -- and charges you $150 for the privilege. We tell buyers the card is real for $0.10. Different value, different price.
How is this different from PSA/BGS?
PSA and BGS are grading services -- they assess condition and assign a numeric score. That requires shipping your card, waiting weeks, and paying $20-150. Slab is authentication only: is this the card the seller says it is? Instant, self-serve, $0.10.
What if someone copies the QR code?
Our fractal QR codes use nested, recursive patterns that degrade when photocopied or screen-captured. A photocopy of a fractal QR won't scan the same way the original does. The math behind it is published.
Do buyers need to download an app?
No. Phone camera, browser, done. The verification page loads in under a second. No app, no account, no friction.
Can I use this for Pokemon / Yu-Gi-Oh / Magic cards?
Yes. Slab works with any trading card -- sports, Pokemon, MTG, Yu-Gi-Oh, indie TCGs, whatever. If it fits in a toploader, it gets a label.
I sell on eBay, TCGplayer, and Whatnot. Does this work across platforms?
Yes. The fractal QR is on the physical card (toploader/sleeve). It works everywhere the card goes -- eBay, TCGplayer, Whatnot, card shows, Shopify, in-person sales. One label, every platform.

Your cards deserve better than PSA.
