1. Service Description
Slab (“the Service”) is a provenance platform operated by Taynik, Inc. Slab generates secure QR codes that link to provenance pages for trading cards and collectibles. Slab does not grade cards, assess condition, or guarantee authenticity. Slab provides verifiable seller identity, photo-anchored provenance, and trust history.
2. Accounts
You must create an account to generate codes. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not use Slab for fraudulent purposes, including misrepresenting card identity, condition, or provenance.
3. Pricing & Billing
Free accounts include 15 codes per month. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. Overage codes are billed at the rate specified on your plan. Verification scans are always free for buyers. Prices may change with 30 days notice.
4. Content & Photos
You retain ownership of photos you upload. By uploading, you grant Slab a license to display them on provenance pages. Photos are stored on Cloudflare R2 and served to anyone who scans the associated code. Do not upload content you do not own or have rights to.
5. Limitation of Liability
Slab is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that provenance codes will prevent fraud, win disputes, or serve as legal evidence. Slab is a trust tool, not a legal instrument. Our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding a claim.
6. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Provenance pages for existing codes will remain accessible after account cancellation.
